Our Goal

Our goal is to help protect Dublin Bay as an amenity for everyone who uses it and to ensure it retains its status as a UNESCO biosphere. 

We hope our work will build awareness of the need to act now in order to ensure Dublin Bay is protected for future generations and that everyone can continue to enjoy this unique natural amenity.

Achievements to date

• Irish Water commit to increase testing and treatment of effluent!
• UV treatment in Ringsend to now remain active beyond 15th September
• EPA calls for additional water quality Testing
• Increased testing for the rest of 2021
• Redefining the bathing season now ‘in play’
• Commitment to provide better protection to Dublin Bay users , all year round
